Don't bother with this firm. Called them because I wanted an attorney to review some documents regarding a real estate investment and loan. The receptionist was somewhat rude but transferred me straight to Jack Lieb. I spoke with him briefly regarding my case and he had me email him the documents for review. Never heard anything back after emailing and calling the office several times. Wasted my time! If they aren't interested in a case just respond and say so instead of agreeing to look at something then ghosting the client.

A simple phone call request to see if they'd handle my situation. I gave minimal details to the 'operator' or whomever answered the phone. She came back with; Legal advice and telling me they aren't interested. When I explained more, and I wasn't necessarily wanting to sue she asked; "Then why do you need an attorney?" When I responded because I don't have the knowledge or ability to excersize a demand letter she said, you don't need an attorney to write one that I could write it. Saying if I'm not suing, there's no "teeth in it" and therefore they probably aren't interested. If this is a small firm, and the secretary or whomever is answering the calls has qualified legal background and experience then I'll change my review. But as of now, she shouldn't be giving advice nor discussing if a demand letter would be appropriate for such an issue without more knowledge of the request.

Richard Fahey of Lieb and Lieb, did a great job for me on retainer. Fortunately our issue was resolved just before my case went to litigation. He is very genuine and if need assistance in the future with real estate representation, I will definitely call on him again.
