I do not recommend this lawyer he’s going to tell you that he knows what the prosecutor wants to do and that he talked to the prosecutor and he knows them I hired Dustin to represent me in a murder case the only time he came to see me in person was right before trial all the other time he’ll schedule a 25 minute video visitation the one time he did come see me in person right before trial he did not even come with everything he knew I wanted to see before my trial I repeatedly told Dustin that he needed to speak to certain officers and he needed to look at body camera footages of my arrest to discover what actually happened at the time of my arrest for whatever reason the one time that he did come to see me in person he still did not show me the body camera footage or attempted to discover it on his own the detectives on my case not only violated my 4th amendments but they lied about how my arrest actually occurred. They hid the fact that they also, made both me and my younger brother stand outside of a police vehicle and later face another vehicle and turn to different angles which is known as a show up. What Dustin failed to realize was that it is HIS JOB to not only figure out the truth for his clients but to also take into consideration the information that his clients provide him. Dustin is not aggressive before trial I provided him with numerous questions to ask the witnesses and he did not even ask half of those questions and in the middle of trial he came up to me in front of the jurors and asked me what else did I want him to ask. When I had already provided numerous questions. At the time of selecting jurors the state asked for a counter offer and Dustin came to me and said do I want to offer 30 years when I told Dustin to tell the state I will take 10 and 10 he told me that they are not going to accept that when they asked for a counter offer. We only had 2 WITNESSES and he still couldn’t beat the case because he failed to prepare for trial even with having one of the main witnesses change the whole scenario of the crime all he is going to do is act like he is professional until he gets majority of the money and then you are going to start seeing that he is not a fighter he makes too many inform opinions rather then applying the law I lost trial I was sentenced life + 40 years because of Dustin when I asked to see a mitigation specialist he told me mitigation comes after sentencing which is true but I didn’t ask him when does mitigation take place rather I requested to see a mitigation specialist before trial and he knew that and I never saw a mitigation specialist he failed to do his job as an attorney.
