My lawyer Pete did me so wrong. But it was my fault for hiring him. We paid over $7,000 and he was lazy in my case. At the time, I was pregnant and under stress so when he explained the situation it went over my head. But I feel that if someone is paying you $7,000 to remove a felony… they’d do their BEST job to remove it. He was lazy, he was so inexperienced he had to google what my charge was. All I have to say is that I regret hiring him. For the same amount of money I could have went to Hawkins and Walker law firm and they would’ve fought to remove the felony completely instead of settling with a “felony deferred.” Pete knew I was 6 months pregnant, with this felony I can’t get a job as a nurse or a daycare teacher which were my lifelong goals. I regret hiring him because everyday I’m reminded of how I chose a LAZY lawyer. I can’t get an apartments, a career in nursing. Nothing.
