Bob Myers and associates misled my wife from the early stages of her retaining him to represent her in her divorce. My wife contacted the firm repeatedly to inquire about her outstanding balance, which was never once made transparent to her until almost two years after the divorce was finalized, at which point she was threatened with a lawsuit for $57,000. Although a settlement was agreed upon, the firm and its attorneys were never able to produce records of having provided my wife with billing details. Additionally, her views and wishes were minimized repeatedly. (ADD: The smug nature of the firm's response to this review is fitting; they are no doubt proud of their work despite the client's feedback. This was characteristic of her overall experience each step in the way. Thank goodness she advocated for herself or the result would have been worse. For example, she was told repeatedly her interest in the business she co-founded with her ex was of no value, but she advocated to have a business valuation completed which resulted in meaningful compensation. As I stated and is true, detailed billing records were NOT forthcoming upon my wife's numerous requests. In fact, the counsel representing the firm in the lawsuit they threatened told her these were confidential records before finally turning them over. Once we were finally able to review them, I assure you there were practices that would have been questioned, at minimum. Finally, regarding the engagement letter, that's surely an easy fallback, especially from a lead partner who continued to encourage my wife to "trust the process" when she questioned the process or outcomes along the way. Should you move forward with this firm, put more stock into the "letter" than in the spirit of the early conversations.)

If you are a woman DO NOT USE THIS FIRM!!! As you can see from other reviews, BHMK in fact has a firm-wide policy on how they treat women. My lawyer, Mr. HYLAND at BHMK, explained this policy as his excuse for violating attorney- client priviledge consistently for years. It involves disregarding client directives, colluding with the opposition, encouraging "wealthy" women to sign documents not in their best interest, and giving known violent abusers who carry loaded weapons information on their female clients. BMHK charged me and charged me while violating my directives and working with the opposition including encouraging me to sign off on multi-million dollar loans that my abusers took out from stealing my identity. In fact, he had me give my abuser MORE identifying details to help him continue to steal from me and my deceased brother. In addition, one of the partners at BHMK, Mr. KOENIG, is best friends with two criminals (Ray and Sally Leyman) who stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from my brother while he was dying of cancer during the early Covid days. Recently, it has taken almost a month and more than 6 contacts to get BHMK to give one of my documents to me. Mr. BURLEIGH refuses to respond to inquiries and forced me to communicate, again against my written wishes, with the Attorney that gave me up to my abusers and forced me go on the run in an attempt to save my own life. I am now carrying more than $5million dollars in fraudulent debt and liability and I am officially on the run from armed criminals as a result of my time with BHMK. I encourage all to read the Firm's response to the other reviews of poor representation and known misogyny within the Firm. It is evident this is a pattern and not one client's bad experience. I encourage BHMK to give their documentation to the Bar association as I will continue to shout from the rooftops that this firm is corrupt, misogynistic, and frankly shameful.
