Madison hosts many music festivals in the summer, such as the Waterfront Festival and the Willy St. Fair. The Madison Pop Festival and Forward Music Festival were past festivals. The Fete de Marquette is a new addition to the festival. It takes place at various locations on the east side around Bastille Day. The festival will celebrate French music with a special focus on Cajun influence. Madison hosts the Reverence electronic music festival and the Folk Ball, the annual Folk music and folk dance festival that is held each January. Madison hosts the LBGTQA Festival and Fruit Fest. This festival celebrates queer culture as well as LGBT allies. Madison is also home to the National Women's Music Festival. Revelry, an annual music and arts festival held on the campus of the Memorial Union, is also hosted by UW-Madison each spring. Students organize the festival as a way to celebrate the end of the academic year on campus.
