Never in my life did I ever think I would be going to trial. Not only did I go to trial, but I had the man that can not only talk the talk but can walk the walk. I didn't expect much from a court appointed attorney because I'm pretty ignorant of legal/judicial proceedings and stuff and just assumed they would go through the motions like the two I'd had prior. But wow(!) was Mr. Maddux a welcome surprise: throughout the process he has been compassionate, thorough, intuitive, with universal relatability (and as a bonus funny and cool ). But what matters most is I got the feeling from the beginning that he was on top of the ball with several defense strategies ready to go, and just as important seemed to genuinely want to help. His office is friendly too and provides timely updates and I never have trouble getting through. I hope to never ever ever go to court again but if I did I would want Matt and his team representing me. Easy five stars.
