Mr. Moffitt is the best lawyer. I am very grateful to lawyer Philip that I had two tickets were dismissed/ dropped. I had great experiences working with him. He answered my called himself, no hold or transfer calls. He was very patient listened to me and give me clear answers. I was so nervous, he genuinely helping and comforted me without rushing me in hiring him. That makes me feel that he is trustworthy. He gave me a reasonable price that I can afford. I would not hire this guy for anything more than a traffic ticket. He is great at traffic citations but from my experience POOR criminal defense. I had a misdemeanor traffic violation that I was not guilty of. From what he told me he never reviewed police footage and also told me “he handles hundreds of cases at a time”. He heavily encouraged me into a plea deal that I thought was fine at the time but I truly wish I had better council than him. I feel as if I would have got a similar result with a public defender. Im re doing my review because at the time I was told “it’s a great plea deal” and I was scared and took it. However, now that I see the implications it has had on my life I am disappointed and would not recommend him to anyone. I could have easily beat my case and should have taken it to trial. This was first ever crime I was charged with so I didn’t know any better. and I also want to add from what I know, he encouraged this plea deal to me THE FIRST MEETING WITH PROSECUTION. What criminal defense attorney throws in the towel without even reviewing evidence or actually pushing trial dates back so the prosecution either drops the charge or would have gave me a a lesser charge because again I was NOT GUILTY. and now I have a permanent record for something I didn’t even do.
