I was arrested in the South Puget Sound area and charged with 2nd degree DV assault, a class B felony. In addition to a minimum of 90 days in jail, a conviction would have had severe impacts on my career. I hired David based on a referral from a family friend. At my first meeting, Mr. Lousteau outlined the possible outcomes of my case, potential mitigating factors, and a detailed overview of next steps. Mr. Lousteau worked diligently over the next several months to negotiate my case with the prosecutor. His negotiations led to a favorable outcome-- either pleading guilty to 4th degree assault with no jail time, or taking pretrial diversion on the 2nd degree assault charge. You should try to avoid a DV arrest at all costs. You get ordered out of your own home by a judge, you are presumed to be a violent person which is humiliating. If this happens to you, call David Lousteau. I did, and am very glad I did. David skillfully steered my court case into a diversion and my charges will get dismissed with no jail, no conviction. I am back home. He also personally kept my head on straight during this highly stressful episode. Thank you, David!
