When I first met with Mr. Spradley about patenting methods of a new social platform, I told him that timing was important to me. With minimal review of the work I had done in advance, he estimated the cost and time to produce one application. His next step was to explore my work in more detail to validate the scope. Afterwards, he exclaimed that there are four applications. Not a good one to go with at all. He charged me 7500 for a patent application telling me it’s a one time fee and will cover all future expenses of their correspondence with the office. But later on when a letter came from the patent office he wanted me to pay him 1500 for his time @400 an hour every time he did something on my application. I had to let him go and forget about my 7500.
