Funny almost all reviews on RS site are 5 star and on yelp they are almost all 1 star. Ive met and spoke with Rand Spear. Very nice man. I know he cant control the whole company and in my opinion they arent taking care of the clients very well. Most of the time you dont deal with the attorneys its mostly the front desk or a paralegal. You know the ones who hang up on you or don't return calls to give you any updates. The people Ive seen walking around in there all seem miserable. Was told they take 35% but when all is said and done the client isn't getting 65%. There's all kinds of alleged fees. Out of a 40k settlement I got 17,900. My ortho or I should say their ortho got 7k out of my 65% plus other fees to other people as well. My biggest thing that I don't think is right it that like many people already said they don't want to speak to the client. They don't return calls. I asked to speak to Rand Spear one day and the girl said I couldn't be transferred to him. I asked one time what they were waiting for and they said the subrigation dept to send them a fax showing I had no outstanding bills not paid. I asked for their # and I called them and asked them to fax that to RS and they did immediately . Who knows how long I would have to wait if I didn't call them. Why make people wait or give them the runaround. Wouldn't you want to make your clients happy that way they will come back. When they came out to lobby to give me the check they said nothing. I felt like here's your money now get out of here and leave us alone. Personally I think they get the money from the person sued and they put it in their account to collect interest while your home waiting for years. One time they told me they didn't receive the check yet so I emailed the lawfirm being sued. It was sent out like 2 to 3 weeks prior. They even sent me paperwork showing that. I wasn't a happy camper.

UPDATE: still no progress ,it is now JUN 8, 2023 !!! 😩 I’ve been calling for months Since my son has turned 18 , and even now that he’s 18 he’s even been calling to receive monies that’s owed to him, it’s like pulling teeth with these people I’ve even tried other alternatives asking for someone else or even Rand himself at this point, and still nothing!!! 😩 To make an attempt and show at the office is a headache in itself because of location and parking so thats more than just wasted time it’s a hassle all around the board. Once and if this ever gets settled (well the case has been settled) it’s just a matter of receiving the funds!!!! it’s as if since they’re paid the heck with everyone else lives “make them wait .” Very disappointing, beyond dissatisfied alls it takes is some communication and here there is unanswered emails, continuously leaving messages that go unanswered, and trying to get in touch with big man on campus they’ll take ya info but good luck with hearing from Rand himself. Never again with these people. PLEASE just release the monies owed to your clients so they can move on with life this is truly upsetting!!!!!! Never AGAIN !!!!

They are not capable of winning the case. They took 5 years to bring a slip and fall case to trial, to no avail. They change attorneys on your case like a revolving door or switching classes at a high school. You never know who you're talking to. There is no correspondence or very communication, unless you keep calling them. I'm a member of a church with more than 20,000 adults members and I wouldn't recommend this law firm for a case involving an animal let alone a person.

I highly recommend you go else where, preferably a smaller firm. Not sure if they take on too many clients and bite more than they can chew but they do not return calls. I have luckily gotten ahold of them no more than 4-5 times within a 12 month span. They say theyll get back to you but its crickets. I got rear ended so they dont even have to do anything besides collect money. Its an easy case. How they are still in business is beyond me. Im at the very least going to make a few calls after this to see what other firms advise.

Follow up is pretty good until you settle. We settled in July 22 it’s now February 2023 and still have not received any funds. They don’t seem the least bit interested in you once you settle.
