I've been a client of Skinner Law Firm for several years. Jessica and her team have helped me through my somewhat complicated case and Texas family law. Jessica aggressively fought for me and clearly cared about my case. She initially got me contact with my daughter, then worked to get a final order that I was happy with. Because of my unique situation - both parents living outside of TX in separate states and in the military, she assigned one of her team members with a military background and knowledge to help me navigate my situation. This all got my daughter and me the best possible outcome! I hope I don't have to use them again, but if I do I know I'm in good hands.

This woman came within a foot of running over my 5 year old in a parking lot. This was after flying through the parking lot going at least 30mph before she tried to reverse onto my child and I as we were walking to our car. She would not stop until I was screaming at the top of my lungs. I wouldn't trust her with any legal issues in any form. She didn't apologize, I'm fact she acted like she had no idea why I was so upset that she nearly killed my son.

I was given Skinner as a court appointed lawyer for my CPS case for my daughter and I had to reach out to her actually the first time to make contact. I kept leaving her office messages but she wouldn't call me back and finally she picked up the phone when I called and I got to talk to her but that took a little over a month. I would voice my concerns about my daughter and she would agree and let me know she would take care of them and nothing would ever get done . Also, I had left a box of evidence that was crucial to the case at her office that she was suppose to get copies made and get to the judge and the other side for evidence and everything but instead it sat in her office for 2 months without me even knowing this until it was brought up in court and that was the last draw, I had enough so I ask the judge for another lawyer and it was granted . She just didn't do her job and it seemed like she didn't care because at one point she didn't even show up to court and there was no notice or anything. It was just unprofessional behavior all the time. I don't recommend her at all. Of course she will only try and justify her behavior and blame it on others.
