I was recommended Silva Silva Law Firm in Coral Gables. Had a Ablation surgery that ended up into a nightmare! A vascular surgeon had to get involved due to complications after the Ablation. Was in the hospital for a week with a 14in scar in my groin. I caught mursa and still have it. Got all my records from Holy Cross and found new doctors. My whole upper thigh is numb due to nerve damage. I got all my records and reports to start a malpractice suit. The legal assistant Natalie told me take pictures of the scar ..medical reports and surgery detailes from cardiologist and vascular surgeon and tons of pictures. Sent the pkg certified on 1/7/25 got there the next day..they briefly looked at all the documents. They mailed it all me the next day 1/8/25..waited one month today as the legal assistant put the wrong address on it. I'm 2 miles from coral Gables. USPS got involved. I received it and this is what happened as it was lost..social security important paperwork. I was looking thru all the reviews on Silva Silva and every one of them were 5 Stars..not one had a lower star. This is what my documents looked like when I received them yesterday..they used a envelope to put the wrong address. The manilla envelope from their office..put it this way. First time I've dealt with a law firm..Mine I guess wasn't worth it . I Talked to help me Howard and my long review was worth it! Remember Natalie put the right address on your clients name..when you turn down a possible client. The nightmare is over! Don't be so cheap with your hillbilly way!

I don’t know where to begin to express how blessed my mom and my sisters are to have been introduced to Mr. Jorge Silva and his team. A very unexpected and unfortunate turn of events that could have been prevented changed my mother’s life. She was 30 years in the same job working with life long patients/clients watching us finally grow up after years of being a super single mom to a woman in a coma and now disabled for life. My sisters and I were suddenly facing the loss of our home with an uncertain future. If not for our grandmother who took us all in we would not know what would have happened to us. Thanks to Mr. Jorge Silva who took on a battle that no one else wanted, my mother is able to have lifelong care, therapy ,medical assistance , a roof over her head and ours. we were told by an original firm that they couldn’t take it on and all the opposite was made possible by Mr. Silva’s fighting spirit and his entire team. A longtime friend knew I was going thru hell due to the negligence of a hospital. He referred me to Attorney Jorge Silva from Silva & Silva Law Firm and that was the best thing that happened to me. I went to the hospital for a small cut on my upper forehead due to a fall. I was admitted to see a plastic surgeon. Long story short, the night before I was scheduled to be released I was I was given morphine for pain. The next morning I couldn't be awakened and was a: Code Blue. I was taken to do a CAT Scan and it showed I had a severe brain bleed. A Neurosurgeon informed my husband I needed immediate surgery and it was possible I could die. Fortunately I survived the surgery. Days after I came out of a coma and learned I had a brain bleed and my head was shaved and my long hair was gone and 3 teeth were broken during the surgery. I was shocked because I went into the hospital for a little cut and left the hospital with stitches all over the left side of my head, no hair and 3 broken teeth. But I was glad to be alive. I purchased a wig as I was getting ready to return to work in a few weeks. I wanted to make the best of what happened to me and move on. Unfortunately that was not the case. About 2 weeks after returning home I started having difficulty breathing and had to be rushed to the hospital (thankfully another hospital). I was admitted and after several scans it was determined that I had Tracheal Stenosis caused by inflammation, scar tissue and severe injury when I was intubated during the operation for my brain bleed. An excellent Thoracic/Trachea surgeon now became my surgeon for 12 operations trying to help repair my trachea. I had to use a oxygen machine at all times. Each operation uncovered additional issues with my trachea and recovery was long and very painful. I was in and out of the hospital for numerous months. After my 7th operation I ended up not able to breath at all and went back to: Code Blue. An immediate operation saved my life but my worse dream came true. I work up with a tracheostomy (tube made through a hole in the front of the neck and into the windpipe/trachea). I couldn't eat or swallow and I couldn't speak. With time I was able to eat and drink slowly and carefully, and then a had a new voice. My prior voice is a memory and now I have a deep voice that sounds like a smoker. I had the tracheostomy for about 6 months and I swear it was the worst time of my life. I have a permanent big round scar in the middle of my neck and scars from the numerous operations. I cough and have flehm all day and have to use a nebulizer two to three times a day (for life). I now suffer from extreme anxiety and am hoping one day I will recover from the PTSD. And I lost my excellent job that I loved but because of all the months of operations and recuperations my job was given to someone else. I was left with no option but to try and receive compensation for what the hospital did to me. When I contacted Atty. Jorge Silva to see if he would be interested in my case I was unable to walk because of being so weak after so much time in a bed at the hospital. He came to my home with his assistant and I immediately felt at ease. I knew he would be the perfect person to defend my rights. With his countless years of experience and knowledge he would receive the compensation I deserved. I never needed an attorney before and didn't know what to expect. What I received was that Atty. Silva and his team are professional, experienced, kind and wonderful human beings. I was treated as I was their only client, and with dignity and respect.
