SC&S lawyers devote most of their professional time to assisting clients in seven closely-related practice areas: Tax Consulting, Estate Planning and Estate Administration, Real Estate, Business Planning, Tax Controversies, Charitable Planning, and Litigation Support. In 1950, Stanley Schoenbaum became one of the first graduates of the Masters’ program in taxation at New York University School of Law. After serving in the Office of the Chief Counsel of the Internal Revenue Service as a trial attorney in the Atlanta District and as a special attorney in the Legislation and Regulations Division of the IRS National Office in Washington, D.C., Mr. Schoenbaum moved to San Antonio in 1958 to begin the private practice of law specializing in tax matters.
