Kathryn S lacks basic knowledge of parodies amd lacks knowlege of copyright law. Without parodys, popular shows like Saturday Night Live wouldn't exist. Many, many movies and TV shows AND music artists do parodies and yes, even printed materials like the one you are complaining about. Before you blindly go reporting people for copyright, do your research. Fair use act of 1974 clearly explains parodies are protected. This is how entities like Saturday Night Live still exist. A parody can be a fair use under the Copyright Act, meaning the creator of the parody does not need the permission of the owner of the copyright in the earlier work. Some parodists, most notably "Weird Al" Yankovich. Mrs. S, I will seek to it that you are held responsible for your actions.
