I was involved in a car accident last June. It was a difficult situation because the other driver made an illegal left turn, hitting my car and then fleeing the scene. Unfortunately, I didn't have my cell phone with me, so I couldn't call the police. The other driver claimed he had called them, but they never arrived. To make matters worse, he refused to exchange driver's and insurance information. He even pushed me to get back into his car and then drove away. I was able to get his license plate number, but that was the only solid evidence I had. I was extremely upset and unsure of what to do.
