I am not a lawyer, but I would advise you against hiring Kenneth Gleria as your lawyer. In my first conversation with him, he asked me "You want to win this case, right?", leading me to believe that he would do everything he could to argue my case, but instead he told me to take the plea deal as soon as it was offered and gave very little legal counsel. When I asked him questions relating to my case and how it could affect my job, he told me to find out the information myself and report back to him. Isn't a lawyer supposed to have the answers to questions regarding the law? He was condescending when he spoke to me and it never felt as though he saw me as a real individual going through a difficult circumstance, but instead saw a paycheck. He also cost about 2k dollars more than other lawyers I heard about from people who were dealing with the same issue. He also gave me false information: I had an issue during my probation and when I spoke to him about it he told me it was going to be an automatic 2 days in jail and to "expect" going to jail. Obviously this was very upsetting and I was worried sick all day, but when I talked to my PO she shook her head and said that that was absolutely untrue. If you're dealing with a difficult circumstance and want an attorney who understands, listens to you, and who has your back, then look elsewhere. I will say that I did like Jack. He came to my trial instead of Ken, and Ken never told me he wouldn't be at my trial. Jack was much more honest and real with me and I appreciated that. Jackie was also very sweet. But working with Ken was a most unpleasant experience.
