I cannot recommend David Makofka highly enough! David became my court-appointed lawyer about 8 years ago. I believe my case ended up being the longest case he’s ever worked. I expected an inexperienced, youngster to be representing me, but was thrilled that David picked up my case. He’s highly intelligent, articulate, but most importantly he truly cares about his clients. Even as the case was dragged out many years, and he was no longer profiting, he was always there for me. He gave me great advice throughout, and then in court gave a masterful presentation. With his stellar representation, I was able to go from initially facing several years in prison, to receiving a time served sentence! He did such a great job that I’d be willing to personally talk to anyone who is on the fence about retaining his services. Five stars aren’t nearly enough!
