I've been working with Pia & the Lewis law group for over 6 years now. Pia has helped me secured 2 O-1 artist visas and recently just helped me get my EB-1/Green Card approved. If you ask anyone who is currently going through or went through the US visa process, most would tell you that it's an extremely stressful and difficult journey, Pia & The Lewis law group made this journey much easier for me. From all the immigration lawyers I've spoken to, the Lewis law group has the most reasonable prices I've seen. A lot of these other immigration attorneys I've seen discourage you from even applying for these visas, claiming you do not have enough evidence or enough achievements to back up your case, which to me is just their way of saying they don't want to try, and afraid it would hurt their approval rates. So grateful and so thankful to Pia and her team. Could not have chosen a better immigration lawyer! Before working with Pia, I was working with a terrible immigration lawyer, who messed up my application big time and got me an RFE then proceeded to tell me that I had a "very high chance of getting denied so it was not worth sending more evidence". I had honestly lost hope on my application but thought I would consult with Pia because 3 of my friends who worked with her spoke very highly of her. She was so kind, reviewed my whole application (before I signed with her) to help me figure out what the best move was for me. After doing so, she told me that I had great credentials and should have gotten approved but my application was very unorganized. She explained everything to me, in detail. Pia is an AMAZING immigration lawyer! I was so nervous and apprehensive going in to seek my O1 visa, but Pia dissuaded my fears right away. She was very optimistic and immediately pitched ideas on how to make my case work. Just got my Green Card! Attorney Pia has guided me throughout my immigration journey over the past years. I first started working with her when I was an international film student on my OPT. Since then, she has helped me get my O-1B, then my EB-1, and most recently my Green Card. MY HIGHLIGHTS: - Pia knows immigration very well and was great at designing a personalized strategy for me based on current events in US politics. - All my documents remained organized and categorized accordingly. - Important application documents were sent to me for review before submission. She also has a team that double checks if everything is correct and complete. - One huge strength is her ability to remain calm under pressure. As an applicant, this entire immigration process can make you so anxious, and legal language (especially for RFEs) can get so confusing. If you get an RFE, stay calm! Pia is able to break things down and tell you exactly what you need. I once got an RFE over something silly like font size or whatever. The government tends to ding these random details, which is normal. Pia will help you sort these out immediately. I agree with all the existing positive reviews. I feel bad for that one negative review from years ago because that was not my experience with Pia at all. I can’t emphasize this enough: PIA KNOWS WHAT SHE’S DOING. Overall, I highly recommend Attorney Pia. I will continue recommending her to all my fellow artists, and I can’t wait to work with her again in the future for my citizenship!
