Laurence P. Posner has been a California licensed attorney since 1994. For nearly 25 years, Mr. Posner has devoted himself to helping those who are victims of another person's wrongdoing. He has successfully handled thousands of cases for injured victims and their families, resulting in settlements totaling tens of millions of dollars. Mr. Posner is dedicated to his clients and takes great satisfaction in helping them feel some sense of redemption for the turmoil and pain that they have suffered due to the carelessness of another person.
Mr. Posner is known for his down to earth personality and gives close personal attention to all of his clients, often allowing them access to his cell phone to call him directly in the event of an emergency. He and his Cantonese- and Mandarin-Chinese speaking staff are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve and reassure clients or their loved ones who have been hurt.
Mr. Posner began his legal career as an Employment Law attorney, representing employees who were discriminated against because of their age, sex, race, religion, and national origin, to name a few. Many of the employees were also victims of sexual harassment in the workplace who suffered both physically and emotionally. Several of Mr. Posner's clients had been wrongfully terminated despite having excellent work records and being long term, faithful employees. He achieved great satisfaction in helping those who could not help themselves by engaging in extensive litigation, arbitration, and participating in trials.
Mr. Posner is a 1990 graduate of California State University of Northridge with a degree in Organizational Systems Management. He graduated from the University of La Verne College of Law in 1993. He is an active member of the Consumer Attorneys of California, the California Trial Lawyers Association, and American Bar Association. Also committed to his family, he has a wife and two school aged children; he coaches basketball for his son during his free time.
