I give them my highest recommendation and would gladly work with them again. While everyone at the firm was sharp, articulate, and professional, my primary point of contact was Kyle Vogel, who was exceptional. During a difficult period when I couldn’t see my son and felt distraught, Kyle helped me get through it. He was detail-oriented, incredibly responsive, adept at refining my statements, and, most importantly, executed towards our goals. That said, Kyle didn’t work alone. Kelsey Martin, another attorney, collaborated with Kyle to ensure all aspects of my case were thoroughly considered. Derek Austin, who led the team, provided strategic oversight and reassured me throughout the process. Their combined efforts achieved an agreement with the opposing party that not only granted/reaffirmed my joint custody, but also provided me ample custodial time and additional co-parenting benefits. From the start, I felt I was in good hands. Anthony, who handled my initial intake, was empathetic and highly competent, motivating me to proceed with a paid consultation. Christian, who stepped in for Derek during that consultation, reassured me with his confidence in my case and gave me some candid advice, solidifying my decision to choose them, which I’m still very grateful for. People often approach lawyers with apprehension (e.g., when it comes to billing), but I can confidently say that Kyle and the team were worth every penny. If you are a woman, I would NOT recommend Derek Austin. Don't even consult let alone hire. During consultation he would not give me information on acquiring ex's financials. He told me he can't do anything to get financial info from ex as it's been over 7 years. Only if ex shares then something is possible. We can get wage info from the company he worked at, forensic accountants are available.even If it's costly, it's worth it. Indian women should think about processing right away after separation as it can cost a bit to get dated info from ex. And consider domestic violence which is common with Indians. He told me my case was a simple divorce. He didn't bother to include domestic violence which is to be considered during alimony decisions. Based on other reviews, you can see that he's not a good attorney. Some Indian man referred him to me..perhaps he was helpful to him. Or he's not a good friend I thought he was. Anyways, I don't recommend Derek Austin.

Worked with this firm for about 9 months. They switched my lawyer 3 times. Ultimately, I spent about 17k fighting for a protective/no contact order for an ex who was stalking me. We settled outside of court and my lawyer told me we were getting a written no contact order as part of the settlement only to find out months later he never got it in writing so I settled without any civil protection in place.

Over the course of 7 years and this being the 6th filing by my children's mother. And Derek Austin being the 5th Attorney I had hired. NONE of my previous experiences had been like this one. Let me put very simple.... Thanks to the dedication of this firm, I have now not seen or talked to my children for almost two years. As though the whole family court experience isn't enough, you add a firm that charges you $3,819.00 to appear to 1 court hearing that was no longer than a total of 30 min. Only to send you back a check of $1081.00 of your $5,000 (cost of retainer). To never do ANYTHING as little as a phone call to do an update check. I firmly suggest you stay away from this firm.
