Very inappropriate. Demanding. Pressured many decisions and lied about putting the kids first priority of concern. Made promises and where I come from your word is everything. The first order of business was never settled and received payment and slowly disappeared. God is greater and the victory shall come in my favor. A waste of time of back and forth and never really being heard. He was too busy talking over me and devalued my humanity. It’s unfortunate but I am wiser now.

RUN as fast as you can !This attorney robbed me. He deserves to be disbarred!! One of the attorneys referred me to Rick as they went to law school together unfortunately, he did not have any knowledge of the terrible person Rick is. When I first spoke to Rick, he spoke of what a “beast” he was in the court room and how he knew the Judge on my case, spoke nothing but great things. He even stated that he was nasty in the court room, but would never be to me. BS! Signed the documents paid the fee ,and the rest was history. He took a while to file the motion, and once he filed it, he never scheduled the hearing. I would Have to email him several times before I get a response. When I asked him to call me when he had a chance he replied “I’m not your secretary “ No, but you “work” for me, I hired you. He’s arrogant and unethical among other things. When I asked him about the hearing, he responded with “you didn’t want me to schedule the hearing” What!? I didnt pay money that I didnt have to file a motion and not move forward. I am a Paralegal I know how to do my motions and file them. I wanted Someone to fight for me in the court room. When he wants to try and intimidate you, he’ll tell you to call him and all of a sudden he’s available. Rick, will send you documents that belong to other clients. In my case he emailed the other party, and when they responded I found out that Rick, spoke to him several times. I had no knowledge of these conversations. When I asked Rick about it, he was nervous but berated me. I have a right to know! I have a lot of more complaints however, I will be filing a formal complaint with the FL Bar. If you’ve had an issue with this attorney, please file a complaint and submit your rebuttal etc. There needs to consequences for his actions. Please go to the FL Bar website and file a complaint , file your rebuttal , do what you have to ! Misconduct Unethical Theft Etc.

Where do I start. Rick will show up to court hearings but thats all. Before giving rick a retainer I was promissed he would have things under control. Two years later im in a worse place with my family matters. Rick hasn't done anything ive expected no time share modification, no credit for stolen child support, no control just alot of unprofessionalism especially with my situation not being very difficult my child's mother is very unstable however she is able to keep going to court and have leverage over me even without a lawyer. Rick isnt even able to recover my child support credit that the judge has granted me. Ive emailed rick atleast three times yet he hasnt even responded to say he was done with my case nothing im not into calling people name so do yourself a favor and get someone else to handle your family law. After retaining rick chizever Im convinced anyone can be a family lawyer.
