I worked with Shannon on my divorce/child custody case. Shannon is very knowledgeable with all areas of family court. She provided several options to me on how to proceed with my case and worked with the other party to help navigate us through the process. Throughout her representation Shannon was always available by phone or email, communication was great. The best part about having Shannon represent me was that she provided me options throughout the divorce process. Shannon helped the other party and I come to all agreements so that we did not have to go to trial. She was wonderful to work with and I would highly recommend her.

Worst possible experience. This law firm dropped my mother’s case because it became difficult. They didn’t communicate at all, just sent us court documents with no explanation. Katherine was rude to speak to. She was not available, took a long time to respond to calls and emails. My poor mother has ended up in a probate case fighting for her freedom because of Katherine’s mistakes. She was detrimental to my mother in every way. She admitted that she knew nothing about probate law. She filed incorrect paperwork on my mother’s behalf. Whatever you do, stay away from this law firm and Katherine at all costs. You will regret using her services. When I complained about our treatment, Katherine referred to me as “confrontational”, instead of accepting constructive criticism.

Law Office of Katherine Kraus, PLLC I wanted to share my experience using the Law Office of Katherine Kraus. Divorce, it is difficult to say the least (one of the most difficult things to go through) but you need a team to help you through the process. Katherine Kraus is not like other attorneys where they want to get involved in every little detail. Her and her team want to make it as easy and affordable for you as possible. Some attorneys try to have you use them for every little thing possible, not with Katherine. She was very easy to work with and she streamlined everything with my divorce. These are my points as to why I feel this firm is as legit as they come….. 1. They don’t nickel and dime you. Most people will blow their retainer before you even get to the table to discuss allocations between you and your ex. Not the case with this law firm. She streamlined the process for me from the get go and came up with a plan as where my ex’s attorneys looked for everything possible to be involved in the divorce. 2. Responsive, they get back to you asap with any questions, you won’t be waiting long for an answer to any questions you have. 3. The paralegal team is amazing, I will say “KC” is the most responsive person I have worked with. I do work professionally with the legal system and her paralegal team is by far the best out there. This is key when retaining an attorney, most people overlook this. “KC” handled most my matters instead of having to get the attorneys involved. This is key because it will save you money in the long run. If you have a great paralegal team, they can handle most your matters. 4. I never felt any financial pressure from this firm, they worked with me instead of me working for them. 5. When you need an attorney to get involved in a situation with the divorce, Katherine is there, no questions asked. I couldn’t be happier with her and how she got back to me on the different aspects of the divorce. Divorce is tough (very difficult) but you need a team to be in your corner. They won’t bleed you out of money and they make clear and logical decisions. They have the best paralegal team out there. I had my trust in this firm from the beginning and I have had nothing but positive things to say throughout the whole process. I was able to work directly with my ex on a lot of aspects of my divorce and they were there to support me in this process and only got involved when I needed them. Most attorneys want to be involved with everything which will cost you an arm and a leg. My advice, retain your attorney, let the dust settle, and come up with a plan, don’t let emotions (I know this is easier said than done) do the legal work for you. I highly recommend Katherine Kraus and her legal team. Don’t retain an attorney to nickel and dime you, get a team to support you and this is the team.
