Carolyn young is an incompetent lawyer. Before hiring her make sure to get her plan of action towards YOUR goal, get answers to all your doubts on how her plan will work for you, including the time frame. She had no plan on how to achieve what I wanted than to say what is evidently said by the other party. Also, She did not answer many of my legal questions. She did not confirm to what she asked me to do and changed things in the last minute and threatened to withdraw as my lawyer if I dont listen to her, while she wanted me to do what the other party wanted. I was on supervised visitation. Carolyn did nothing after 5 weeks, except that she wanted to take money to schedule me supervised visit, which I was already doing without her help. She made me pay her high end 'therapist friend' which resulted in no positive changes. Her therapist friend said that they will get me a few unsupervised visits and that if they go well, they will get that continued for me. But Carolyn young manipulated it to say that her therapist friend suggested supervised visits! Why will I pay a.lawyer and her high end therapist friend to suggest what I already have? Carolyn young is a very weak lawyer who tries.to get her way through manipulation. She did not even forward the other parties suggestions until the last minute and tried blaming me for not responding, while she was weak to confront and Decline the other parties recommendation which I had already declined. She was very sarcastic and called me names, because the other party was too strong for her and she was legally incompetent with my high conflict case. However, she took money to talk about the same things over and over, and to write lengthy emails of the same. She charged me for a modification submissio. In the court, which i found out after a few months through the court clerk that it was not accepted. The lawyers office never informed me of the rejection by the court but had charged me for it. Very unproductive. I lost my hard earned money. She charged me close to $3000 without doing any court work or any legal mediation work. The money charged was just to review my case, chat with me and email me.

I hired Carolyn about 10 years ago, paid my $4000 retainer and she used almost the entire amount ($40 returned unused) in just serving him with papers, phone calls to me. Nothing was accomplished for $4000. I had to hire another attorney and pay again before I got my case settled. Very upset and a waste of money I didn't have.
