That’s so funny that you decided to delete my review! But I have time for domestic violence victims, like the many you’ve disrespected while handling their cases! This man does not care about women escaping violent men, and if you’re a woman trying to divorce your abuser avoid this man. He will do nothing for you but gladly take your money, then tell you that you’re to blame for the things you’ve gone through. He does not care about his clients or the children of his clients, which is an important thing he SHOULD care about seeing as he’s a divorce lawyer

I highly recommend using Mr. Platt. Him and his team helped me with everything I needed and was willing to fight for me. While I ended up reaching a settlement with my ex-husband, I truly felt like Mr. Platt and his team cared about me and wanted what was truly best for me. If you are a woman dealing with domestic violence or any sort of abuse DO NOT go to this man. He will blame you for you current situation, treat you poorly, and mishandle your case. He does not care about his clients and only cares about your money, and isn’t a very good lawyer. Save your money and your case and go elsewhere.

After looking for a good representation I came across this lawyer after many years. I neglected to look at reviews before hiring. To my extreme disappointment the most negative review of this lawyer was accurate to the point. Never have been through a divorce is challenging in itself. And when you hear a divorce lawyer who’s been at it for a long time that gives you what you want to hear, you think just like others I’ve struck gold in a good council. We’ll to my disappointment while trying to be kept up with the process and find out if or when paperwork would be filed so I could relate this info to my ex, I find Mr Platt very upset with me asking for information from my divorce attorney that I payed 1,814 a week prior. I wanted to know if paperwork had been filed and his reply was “ I gotta tell you i am not a big fan of the pushy emails, you want me to just refund your money and we can part ways? _what kind of professional lawyer degrades their clients in this manner. Then proceeds to degrade me over the phone while on speaker saying “ this is odd I don’t understand why you want the divorce so fast is it because you want to marry someone else” Well it’s been almost 5 years since me and my ex split and yes it’s reasonable for people to get remarried. Especially being separated for almost 5 years. So after the back and forth he decided not to go through with the case and offer a refund. But during this process I was told he couldn’t wire a refund because of the board saying there needs to be a paper trail. So I asked could their credit company refund the payment was told they couldn’t do that. They said they would need to mail the payment. While I spoke to my bank which I’d like to mention was really good but don’t want them mixed up they told me to ask for a certified mailed refund so there is tracking involved for payment refund. I was told that they didn’t want to do a certified refund because they would need to leave the office. So how do people file documents or end up before a judge. No one leaves offices anymore? They told me that they would just put it in the mail uncertified but everyone knows if there’s no tracking it’s hard to say what happened to the letter. So this is why I stayed I need a certified copy and will pay the post office certified fee from the amount to be refunded and then was told I will need to call you back tomorrow so they can figure out how to send a certified refund with tracking so even The BAR FOR ATTORNEYS WOULD SEE THAT THERE IS A PAPER TRAIL. He is a great speaker ( Mr Robert d platt) and will tell you everything you want to hear and once payment is taken he becomes a different person like mentioned in the most accurate negative reviews. I would definitely use your judgement when it come to the most accurate negative reviews about this guy. He will now probably try and give me the runaround for my refund because of this review but it accurate and unsettling to know there are lawyers like this out there. But if we don’t receive our refund we have a great attorney willing to step in on our before after hearing this horrible outcome we have encountered. I was so willing and ready once this lawyer did his job with getting us divorced to give him the ultimate review because of our conversation we first had beefier retainer. Due diligence is what you really need before hiring just anyone.

Benjamin’s a great attorney with a good team with him, as long as you are an honest client so he can represent you correctly and you can pay your retainer. I had a good experience and worth every penny from this single mother… he helped me last year when my sons father put a emergency no contact order on me against our son. It was horrible and he made sure I got my son back quickly.
