In December 2024, the firm said they would file a motion for relief from stay. When I followed up 2 months later about the case, they said they never filed the relief and now they were too busy to take on the case. They took almost no accountability for this mistake which costs me an extra 2 months.

I originally left a review three years ago that said this firm was "Competent and caring." But that was only after my first meeting with Jeff. Please understand: Jeff was great. But he left the company before filing for my case, and the company completely forgot about me. When I asked about the status of my case, I had to start all over with Gina. She seemed nice and willing to help. But then she left the firm. And, again, they completely forgot about me. This time when I contacted them, they said they had no record of me and no record of my paying them nearly $5000 to handle my personal and business bankruptcies. I had to dig up the certified check receipts to prove to them that I was a client, and that they hadn't done anything on my case in nearly three years. They offered to settle for a "partial refund" of the nearly $5000 I had paid. After I declined and said I wanted a full refund, they blocked my email addresses (and my IP address, I'm sure, because I tried securing new email addresses to contact them, but they were blocked as well). I've been stuck in rural Michigan for some time now, and I have no landline or cell phone service, so I can't call them. So without email or phone, I have no way to contact them. I've been stuck in limbo for three years now since the failure of my business because this firm can't keep track of me after lawyers assigned to my case quit the firm. At this point, I just want a refund. At least then I could pay off a few of my creditors, who have also been strung along by this firm's foot-dragging. If you hire this firm, and your lawyer doesn't quit in the middle of your case, they might actually do a good job. But the two lawyers assigned to my case quit the firm, and both times the firm forgot I existed, and both times I had to start all over. I'm done with this. Bankruptcy is an urgent matter, and this firm has done nothing for me in three years after being paid in full in the fall of 2019. Not recommended.

We went to their Ennis office in Ellis County and hired an attorney there. The experience was a major plus +++ as we had excellent representation from an attorney to resolve an issue with someone else who refused to cooperate in doing business. The attorney who represented us, cared about us. No hassle. Their secretary called to remind us about the hearings. Hire this law firm. AAAAA+++++ 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
