After 4 years of still being upset about how poorly this “lawyer” took care of my case I decided to write this review. I was in a custody battle with a child’s mother who was addicted and made false claims against me. Manny was cool and pretended to hear me and my wife during consultation. I remained firm I was innocent from day one and warned manny my only options were these charges being dropped or taking the case all the way to trial and fighting them. I had her make threatening messages to herself off of an app called “text now”. I was able to get all the information have all the messages printed and a clear timeline for manny to look at. Like the other review said he showed up late to our pretrial conference and when I didn’t like it he threatened to drop me as a client and keep my money as he had done his job he said. Needless to say we pass that and make it all the way to the day before the trial and manny calls me stating he and his wife can’t seem to figure how she is sending herself messages off of my phone. I remind him again it was not from my phone and I can’t believe he waited until then to start trail prep or even looking into the matter at all. He then brings up his $1500 trial prep on the hopes o wouldn’t have the money to move forward. I did. He shows up late to trail and luckily my accuser didn’t show up. Needless to say I was out of luck with this poorly prepared under motivated excuse of a lawyer. Please do not waste your resources hoping this guy will take care of you. I didn’t lose or get arrested however this guy was embarassing in court and didn’t like me from the begininning and it showed. Really do not waste your time thinking he will serve his purpose. I still have the same number if you would like to harass me like the other 1 star reviews you had received

It was very upsetting to book a consult, then go forwarded to having you represent me in front of a judge, just to end up in Phoenix jail that day No not normal for your lawyer to only take care HALF of the charges you brought to him. He knew I had multiple charges and knew I didn’t know if my first diversion plea was valid for the courts. When you call in panicked(while getting arrested) , this lawyer will simply blame you, stating you never brought it up. And bully you stating “ do you want me to represent you or not” instead of helping get out of the jail which I was told BY HIM TO GO GET FINGERPRINTED, then arrested, the only Council he Provided was one text to my cellphone.If you’re as good as a lawyer as you stated then you would’ve known that I wouldn’t even have my cell phone if I was getting arrested. (I have proof and witness to all of these events) Question? Wouldn’t a trusting and hardworking lawyer look up ALL the charges that were on your original booking paperwork from the police.(provided him all document for the arrest and charges) If you want something done half A** then definitely pick this lawyer 🙂 Update: Mr.Jacobo has decided to not represenation me due to this review, which I gladly accepted. So after another recorded call and being told that other representation are “ just wanting my money” well you did too. He was upset over my detailed review and the “damage it has done” well I was upset when I spent a night in downtown jail after being told I wouldn’t. So life happens. I would advise all to look into another representation this one is only here for the money
