Mr. Nevins is a great attorney. He always makes time and listens to your concerns. He is very practical and upfront of whichever outcome you decide to take. Mr. Nevins helped me to make my decision based on logic instead of emotions. Do not let his demeanor fool you, he is quiet and humble but still an expert at his craft. Not all attorneys have to be loud or aggressive and I feel that is very strategic on his behalf. Me. Nevins was able to get me a favorable outcome and keep me home with my daughter which was the overall goal. Please refer to Mr. Nevins if you ever find yourself in legal trouble!

My case being called hectic is an understatement. Mr. McAllister was down right legendary, in both the courtroom and meeting with me. I will be 100% going back to him and his firm with any other family court issues. 20/10 would recommend Kevins & McAllister to anybody.

I contacted Ryan McAllister for help with my divorce. It should have been a very simple divorce as our lives and finances never merged and we have no kids. My ex was not willing to let me serve her nor was she was willing to work with me at all. As soon as Ryan and his paralegal Susan began working with me they were able to serve her and move the divorce along that had previously been stalled for over 9 months at that point. Within 2-3 months my divorce was granted before the new year. Both Ryan and Susan were kind, great at communication, and patient with me. I would highly recommend.

Elizabeth Ebner is a horrible attorney. I hired her in 2014 and paid her $2,200 and owed her another $2300. I spoke with Liz about my case and she recommended a plea bargain of no contest (guilty), I strongly disagreed, got a new attorney and eventually had ALL CHARGES (48 OF THEM) DISMISSED by attorney Jacob Gurwitz. The case was dismissed by the judge because of double jeopardy and was illegal under state and federal law. She advised me to waive my preliminary hearing, although per the law (doubled jeopardy and compulsory joinder) she could have had the entire case dismissed! She even discussed plea bargains with the police before the hearing. While Liz told me there wasn't much of a defense because of a prior case, another attorney Jacob Gurwitz one block down the street had the case dismissed specifically because of that case. My advice if you want to plead guilty, just go with a public defender at least they're free! Update December 21 Spoke with Mr. McAllister on Monday, we talked for about a half hour about my distaste for his firm and that I now suffer from PTSD related to my incarceration. I'm now suing the police in federal court for the illegal charges his firm tried to get a plea bargain on. I've filled a complaint against him and Mz. Ebner with the Attorney General's office and the Pennsylvania Bar association. Mr. McAllister is correct, every attorney has their own approach and skill level. Elizabeth Ebner is incompetent, her approach was a plea bargain, Jacob Gurwitz got the case dismissed all 48 charges. I posted my docket to show you the representation you'll receive with Ebner Nevins and McAllister. Make your own decision, your life depends on it.
