We are bypass PA, and my husband was sued and need Criminal attorney (case details...are omitted ). Even tough the case is not very complicated, I called at least 6 attorneys. Because we are out of state, I could not meet them in person, attorney Curtis does gave us good feeling to trust him. To be honest, there are some other attorneys even scare us to make us believe the case will be very difficult and complicated.... We are satisfied with the result, and felt we should hire him at the first court not wait until moved to the second stage. I recommend him !

I hired Curtis for a traffic matter that was fairly convoluted involving out of state tickets that lead to PA license/registration suspensions, and expired insurance. I satisfied some, but not all, of the negative marks against my driving good standing before going into court. There he was able to deliver a satisfactory resolution of no points and no new suspensions (in which the worse case scenario could have elicited those sort of consequences) with only a short amount of negotiation. My impression is Curt is personable but also straightforward with legal matters, including discussing potential outcomes, which contributed to a smooth process for both me, the officer, and the court. I've hired Attorney Barnes twice: once for two of my children. Their cases were 4 years apart. They both had offenses shortly before graduating. We were all concerned about their permanent records and the lasting impact it could have on their careers after graduating college. Mr Barnes is concise, he maintains an open rapport and doesn't sugar coat all possible outcomes. In both cases my children didn't end up with anything on their records. For that I am being thankful. Having searched online, there are at least three other attorneys known as Curtis Barnes. Upon reviewing my records, I have never had a client by your name. I am a criminal defense attorney. I do not practice domestic law. I do not charge hourly rates and I have never charged a client anywhere near $40,000.00. Contrary to your post, I consider myself to be very honest; and strive to serve my clients in a highly ethical and professional manner.
