I'm sure Brian has been a great attorney for others based on his reviews, but our experience with him in our family law case was far from satisfactory. We understood that hiring an attorney doesn't guarantee a win, but our case was a complex trial spanning over 1 month, requiring significant preparation. Unfortunately, Brian fell short in every critical aspect. Despite having ample evidence to counter the other party's lies and misrepresentations, Brian chose not to submit it, insisting it wouldn't matter. He was completely wrong--this evidence could have changed everything, and the judge did, in fact, consider the issues he dismissed as "petty" and "irrelevant". His lack of preparation was shocking. He didn't properly prep either my husband or me to testify, nor did he guide us on what to expect during cross-examination. Instead of focusing on our case, he often compared it to other cases he was working on, which was both irrelevant and unprofessional. While his team was friendly and responsive, Brian's lack of judgment, professionalism, and preparation cost us custody of my husband's daughter. Had we known this outcome beforehand, we would have saved ourselves the debt, heartache, and stress by going elsewhere. Our chances of winning this case would have been higher had we had just represented ourselves. Hiring Brian was the biggest mistake we made in this process. My advice to anyone reading this: if your legal matter is straightforward or you're prepared to handle more of the preparation than your attorney, then Brian might work for you. However, if you're dealing with a complex family law trial or a case that requires a skilled, proactive attorney, stay far away from Brian and this law firm. We felt more prepared and knowledgeable about this case than he did, which is unacceptable when hiring legal representation for such high-stakes matters. Save yourself the stress, time, and heartache by looking elsewhere.
