Christopher Cueto has been an advocate for peoples’ rights since 1986. He possesses extensive experience in trial practice and has successfully represented groups and individuals in a variety of cases throughout the St. Louis region and Southern Illinois.
A graduate of St. Louis University, Chris, a Belleville, Ill. native, specializes in personal injury, birth injury, consumer class action, pharmaceutical class action, and white-collar criminal defense litigation. He has the knowledge, experience and passion to stand up for his clients against major corporations, companies or individuals, and is one of the few attorneys in the St. Louis region who is an expert in both the Federal Torts Claim Act and qui tam (whistleblower) law.
In addition to previously serving as an Assistant Public Defender for St. Clair County, Chris was an Illinois Supreme Court appointee to the Board of Governors of the Interest on Lawyers Trust Account (IOLTA), which provides civil legal aid to the poor and supports improvements to the justice system. He is licensed in Illinois and Missouri and with several Federal Courts. Chris has tried cases before State and Federal Courts and consistently delivers favorable settlements and verdicts for his clients, resulting in millions of dollars for those he has represented.
