In 15 years as an OTR trucker this is about the 8th attorney I’ve had to use to fight a CDL ticket and she is the first one to do absolutely nothing for me. I hired her to represent me for a 3rd lane violation. She charges $500 and tells me she’ll try to work a deal but if the officer doesn’t come to court it will be dismissed. I attended the virtual hearing, the officer doesn’t show, I’m expecting a dismissal as she told me, but she doesn’t even request a dismissal and the judge continues the case. She then calls me and tells me, “Well, they’re allowed one continuance”. That’s not what she, or the paper she sends you says. Nor is that what she said when she collected my payment. The next hearing is scheduled for 2 months later. Once again, I stop working to attend this hearing. The officer is there and she calls me and says he’s offering no deal so I can either plead guilty or go to trial and hope for mercy. I tell her having paid her $500 I can’t just plead guilty so they hold the “trial” after they do every other case and, of course, just find me guilty. I have questions about the fine, how to pay, what to send my employer. She says she’ll call me after court, she doesn’t. I have to call her office the next day to ask my questions. I wish I had hired literally anyone else. In 15 years of dealing with CDL ticket attorneys she is by far the worst. My record had been completely clean since an equipment violation in 2010 until I trusted her with my case and I paid the price with a fresh moving violation on my CDL. I see the good reviews on here, and that’s what sucked me in, but that was nowhere near my experience. I would recommend not trusting her with your livelihood if you have a CDL My reply to your response: The agreement actually DOES promise that if the officer doesn’t show the ticket will be dismissed. I tried to post a screenshot of the email stating this but google doesn’t show my review when I add a picture. Anyone that hires or has hired this lady please note this statement on the email after you pay her. It was a flat out lie in my case and if you notice in her reply she doesn’t dispute this.
