A very bad experience I had with Atty. Burns… I paid the consultation fee but he dismissed me and not really paid attention to the case. My case is domestic violence but since there was no physical abuse he dismisses me abruptly. I thought lawyers are smart… domestic violence does not need physical evidence there’s this called emotional and verbal abuse. And it’s all part of domestic violence. Perhaps you need to review the laws again before you tell your client that they don’t have case. Btw I got a good lawyer for 3000$ not 4000$ as you claim. She said I have a case and she will fight for it. And keep my $150 for the consultation that was not really a consultation… it was more of discrimination…

RED FLAG!!! This man is the worse lair on planet Earth! Wowwww This man doesn't need to practice as a lawyer he is a crook. He took $8,500.00 from me as he assured me even infront of my church pastor that he was going to help with my case. In the middle of our research he called me n told me that when the case get reopened my best bet is to hire my ex lawyer back after he has collected this much from me we argued n argued knowing for sure had he told me he was going to help with just half of the case I would have taken the $8,500.00 n go to my country infact this man has no mercy. I know we all eat a little from our careers but Mr Burns is really unreasonable n wicked.. Our case got denied n this man demanded another $2000 from me in other to do the appeal. Where in the world was I going to find this money. At the end He did only a motion to reopen n motion to stay for $8,500.00. Please run away with ur money oooo please run. He needs to be arrested he lies too much . He doesn't even deserve a star but I couldn't just write this without a star. He even immotionally abused me. When he asked for more money I asked him he knows I don't have a job he told me I did this to myself. Can u imagine? A lawyer I have hired for my immigration case. I have reported him to the bar already. Justice must prevail. I think he played on my intelligence too thinking I don't know my left or right since I am African.is a lot I can't say but ur best option please find another lawyer oh yes do. Run!!!!!
