I'm so grateful for the opportunity to speak with Laura! She was informative, listened attentively, and addressed all of my questions. I'm confident about the options available moving forward and appreciate the resources she shared with me. Thank you!

I wish i could just give a zero rating. After wasting my time explaining my entire case to their assistant then they scheduled me for 2 weeks later to speak to the attorney. I had a family emergency and called/emailed to notify them to change the appointment, of course no reply then i received a message from this lawyer name ianna Richardson who proceeded to tell me that unfortunately she cannot handle my case because she's out of capacity. I'm sure you are not the only lawyer in the firm, so technically they just rejected my case because of their lack of communication. After moving here in Georgia for a year i can only conclude that business owners have no respect and just lies to waste your time even a lawyers office.

If I could give a negative review, I would. I chose this firm for an employment case after considering other options because they assured me of their support and commitment. Over a year and a half, I provided substantial evidence and endured an exhaustive deposition covering personal details of my life. We had even reached the point of settlement offers. However, after one of my primary attorneys was terminated, the firm abruptly dropped me as a client without offering any alternative representation within their team. At this stage, after their extensive involvement, it's nearly impossible to find another firm willing to take on my case, which has essentially been rendered unworkable due to their lack of diligence. I even offered to assist with motions, as I have some experience, hoping they might finish what they started, but they declined. As a single mother unable to work for over a year, I relied on their commitment, and I am deeply disappointed by their lack of empathy and professionalism. Their actions have left me in an incredibly difficult position, and I urge others to consider this experience when seeking reliable representation.

Thank Goodness for AI. One day...We will be able to handle our legal matters with the help of actual intelligence. I called this firm several times. The communication was inconsistent. They rejected my claim. Even though there is legit claim. Gave no actual advice.Wondered if they knew someone at the company I was trying to sue. Or worked for them. Since they handle both ends. They asked a lot of pertinent questions, only to later say they would not be representing me. Wondering, if the information given is confidential. These people spend six years in college and then get paid to tell people to call EEOC because they are doing the job they're getting paid to do.

Do not use this law firm. I was accepted as a client in May 2022. Things were going great, but my lawyer left the firm and no one at Barrett and Farahany told me she left until I emailed my legal team for something I needed. My lawyer was switched without notice. Then, I was assigned to a second lawyer and she ended up leaving the firm. Again, I was not told when she left. I found out she left when I emailed my legal team with an update from the EEOC. Again, no notice of her leaving from this firm by B&F. This all put my last legal team in a bind because I had to rush to respond to extensive documentation we received in order to file a lawsuit before the statute of limitations arrives. Mind you, it is now October 2022 and my case was lying dormant since August 2022 because B&F failed to communicate with me multiple times about my legal team changing and attorneys leaving. Now, in October 2024, multiple attorneys have left this law firm, including mine. Barrett and Farahany may still work with you and get a solution to your case, but I think you should contact them as a last resort. My 3rd and final attorney with this firm won a settlement on my behalf and is taking on another, separate case. I (finally) received notice from the firm about my attorney’s departure, and I was given a choice to stay with B&F or transfer to my attorney’s new law firm. I chose to transfer and keep my attorney. I have a settlement in a separate case my attorney won while she was at B&F. I was waiting for the last payout before she left. I hadn’t received any updates about it for two weeks until I escalated the issue and got my final payment. Avoid if you can and only choose as a last resort if no one else takes your case. Attorneys leave this firm often, which could prolong your case, and it indicates something is wrong with the leadership of the firm.
