Attorney Stephen Ashley founded Ashley Law Firm P.C. in 2008, dedicating it to providing intellectual property guidance to inventors, entrepreneurs, scientists and businesspeople in Charlotte. He has experience in every aspect of intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks and copyrights. He understands the value of intellectual property and how to protect its worth with vigorous patent enforcement that can include litigation. Early in his career, he worked at a civil litigation firm in Mississippi, but has focused his law practice exclusively on IP since returning to his native North Carolina in 2000. Attorney Mary Ashley focuses primarily on real estate law, helping buyers and sellers protect their financial well-being in residential property transactions. A native of Alabama and a graduate of Mississippi College School of Law, she has put her roots deep into Charlotte. She has been named to Business North Carolina’s “Legal Elite” in the field of real property, a recognition given to just three percent of North Carolina attorneys. Mary and Stephen Ashley are more than law firm partners; they are partners in life as well.
