Wouldn’t recommend doing business with Agata and I talked on January4th and told me I need at least 6months of change to get a case modify and that when my when 6months come by she would take on my case for $3950 and now I tried to go back now she’s charging me $5000 after she already reassured me that she would take my case on for $3950 when 6months past and it’s been 8months now I’m ready to move forward soon she raises the price but gave my friend an offer of $3950 a modification last week.

I worked with Agata from 2019 to 2021 as she helped with my family law case. She is a good person who means well. When we spoke on the phone, she always took the necessary time to explain her professional opinion and the possible view from the court's perspective. She exemplified caring about my situation and I believe that Agata provided me with her best advice for the situation. Where she really shines is litigation. On the occasions we went to court, she definitely threw the gloves on and fought for the case. Unfortunately, no attorney is perfect. There were some shortfalls within my experience: 1. Administrative - To my knowledge, there was no paralegal employed in the office. There are a lot of moving parts to each case and I felt Agata was a little over her head. The time it took to get a problem resolved took longer than expected due to this. There was an instance where Agata followed up with the opposing party, only for everyone to realize she had not even sent the e-mail for the opposing party to actually respond to. 2. Communication - For the most part, Agata replied within 24 hours when I would leave a voicemail. However, there were numerous occasions where I did not hear back for days. While completely understandable that personal issues may arise, the lack of communication was noted as a considerable weakness, especially when clients and opposing parties are waiting on hearing back from your lawyer to move forward. I wasn't notified all the time if she received my emails. If she replied that she would do something by a certain date, a lot of the time the deadline was not met. I had to follow up with Agata on multiple occasions to get an update on my case, so it was difficult to know if anything had been done. It came to a point where I had to state that I was not paying for follow up emails. COVID aside, my case dragged on partly due to this factor. 3. Limited Proactiveness - While Agata was proactive in fighting for me during litigation, she was not as strong in being proactive with solutions outside the courtroom. As with any family law case, it's a stressful and arduous experience for everyone. A good lawyer makes you feel like someone has your back through this tough time. Unfortunately, this was not the case in my opinion and how I felt overall. Agata is a kind person who means well. If you're looking for someone with a strong litigation background and think you may go to court, Agata may be a good fit. If you have expectations for strong communication and exceptional administrative qualities, keep interviewing lawyers.
