I was told I needed a chapter 13 to keep possession of a recently repossessed vehicle, then a week or two later I was told it wasn’t the chapter 13 I needed but a chapter 7 instead . But the $1800 I had previously paid was for the chapter 13 and I would have to pay more money for the chapter 7 to be filed . Total scam I have never felt so played and helpless in my life . I then decided to convert to a chapter 7 ?? No that was what y’all advised me to do after having me pay for a chapter 13 . Why would I on my own free will decide to just convert on my on to a chapter 7 ?? I knew nothing about filing for bankruptcy, isn’t that what counsel is for to advise their paying clients what is best for them ?? 🤔 I don’t have to have a college degree to know a scam when I’ve been through one…
