I had a really bad slip and fall a couple of years ago and had hired another firm who worked on my case for months. I have numerous injuries from this accident, some permanent and I am still receiving treatment. I thought it would be helpful to those out there looking for an attorney to hear from someone who hasn't had their case settle yet, so it's not like I got a settlement I was thrilled with so now I'm leaving a good review that could be skewed that direction, etc. When I was with my previous firm, I was not happy. People were unresponsive and dispassionate, and I felt like I was an employee beholden to the firm. So, I called Jim Traut, I explained my situation to him and my frustrations and that I wanted to switch attorneys if he felt comfortable taking me on as a client. I sent him over my files to review, and he offered me representation that same day and handled the transfer himself. You need to know that this is a very busy firm, and we as clients sometimes like to feel as if we are the only client on their docket. The Traut Firm has been so wonderful to me and has gone above and beyond to this point in my journey with them. I have had every need addressed, and every recommendation and request considered, explored, and honored. I've had so much peace of mind since signing with them 10 months ago and they have shown me nothing but respect and due diligence. As I said, it's a very busy firm, they vet the cases they take very carefully because of the investment of their effort, money, and time. To have your case accepted by them is an accomplishment in and of itself. If you go with the Traut Firm, your legal matter is in amazing hands, your issues like your medical needs will absolutely be addressed swiftly by Chris, who is amazing, and you will always have your concerns heard and addressed. I was going to wait to write a review until after my case resolves, goes to trial, whatever is necessary, but I wanted people to hear the perspective of someone still in the fight and still in the process with them, not swayed one way or the other because of the financial outcome. I've had an amazing experience with the Traut Firm and have already recommended them to friends who know I'm hurt and have asked my opinion on where to go for a personal injury. I have absolutely no doubts that whatever happens with my case, the results for my treatment and my case will be maximized because I found the Traut Firm. Jim was recommended to me by my own lawyer brother who practices Family Law but not Personal Injury as my case would be. Was involved in an accident with injuries...I'm not a litigious person but the insurance company for the person who hit me in the car accident would not cover my injuries past a 3 month period. All in all, after the required surgery and pre and post follow up's, I am near back to physical 100% AND...without the worry of all the legal issues involved in a Personal Injury lawsuit.
