If you are having a problem with your HOA, then you know that most law firms are set up to assist and represent the HOA, NOT you. So I was pretty astonished that Stephen from Third Street Law even replied to my query, much less agreed to assist. Stephen was able to point me in the right direction as far as how to approach and resolve my issue. He was ready to do whatever work was too complicated for me, but also happy to answer questions and coach me to do some of it myself to keep costs down. We had several phone/Zoom conversations and I always found him easy to understand and work with. Ultimately we decided to send a firm but non-threatening letter to my HOA Board, and this seemed to work perfectly. My issue was successfully resolved, and even better, I feel like my HOA Board has a better understanding of the law they must follow.
