On 4/10/18, I gave this law firm a call, after leaving a message the previous day to get a call back. I know how busy lawyers can be, so I decided not to wait on a call back and call myself. Someone recommended that I contact Ms. Wise, and so I did. When I called, the receptionist was really nice, taking my info, and listening. She says for me to hold on, and she'll see if Ms wise is available to speak. After a brief hold, the attorney gets on the phone with an apparent attitude. She sounds as if I'm bothering her day as I'm trying to explain to her, why I'm contacting her. Very impatient and extremely rude. And as I'm trying to explain, that someone recommended that I contact her, she hangs up in my face. Literally just hangs the phone up on a potential client. Please, if you're reading this review, DO NOT give this lady your business. She doesn't deserve business. How she was even recommended to me, is confusing. I would've given this attorney a 0, but it doesn't provide me with that option. STEER CLEAR OF THIS LAW FIRM, SERIOUSLY!!!

Because of the good reviews I decided to come in for a consultation with Ms. Wise . She was late and not as professional as I thought a lawyer would be. My time and money would have been saved going to someone else . Since I am reviewing a lawyer I'd rather not saying much here. I was charged $500+ for the consultation and without thinking about it twice I decided not to hire her.

I found Mari Wise on the internet while researching family law attorneys. My ex had failed to comply with the courts orders of child support. My child is now in his 30's and I had exhausted all hope of ever receiving any payments. She was very professional from day one. She explained different avenues we could approach. We tried mediation, but the opposing counsel and client were not willing to come to any agreement so we ended up in court. It took two court dates before opposing counsel and client agreed to a settlement. Because of Mari Wise's persistence she got me an agreement that surpassed anything I could have hoped for, even when I might have have agreed to less. She is professional, friendly and someone who will get the job done and done right. I have never had such a great experience dealing with the courts, she got our business done as quickly as possible. I felt like she was not just my lawyer, but also my friend. I would never use anyone else and I recommend her to anyone that is looking for a family lawyer.
