Our experience with Attorney Hood during our bankruptcy process was disappointing. Despite our best efforts to provide all the required documentation in a timely manner, we often felt that he was frustrated and overwhelmed due to a lack of adequate support staff. Throughout the process, he frequently reminded us that he would be moving on to other cases, which created unnecessary pressure. At one point, he even accused us of lacking motivation to complete our bankruptcy—a harsh and unprofessional assumption. Bankruptcy is already a challenging and emotional process, and such remarks only added to the stress. Based on our experience, I would not recommend working with Attorney Hood unless he establishes a stronger support system to manage his workload. Without it, clients may find themselves dealing not only with legal complexities but also with the frustration of an attorney whose temperament impacts the process. ***Edited to add after the response given: Professionalism is a rare and invaluable quality, especially when handling a sensitive matter like bankruptcy.
