This is long overdue, but putting into words the gratitude I feel for Dan Moore and his firm is beyond what I can put into words. In 2019, I was in a car accident that permanently injured my lower back. In 2021, I ended up firing my attorney and retaining Dan, as my previous attorney did not care about my case which was made evident by employee turnover, never following up and all round poor management. A friend had recommended me to Dan and honestly, this was life changing. As soon as I hired Dan, he got right to work, getting my files digitized and getting me back into physical therapy for my back since my other attorney determined I wouldn’t get any better. I finally had a team of doctors who listened (recommended by Dan) and an attorney team who cared about the outcome of my case. Having a case that did not get settled during Covid was difficult because the courts were backlogged which prolonged my case longer than what normally occurs in personal injury cases. That did not stop or deter Dan and team. They worked tirelessly trying to get a settlement outside of court and when the defense refused to meet us with an offer that was respectful, Dan encouraged me to stay the course and not give up. At one point, he’d call me on his personal cell even after he left the office to give me updates on my case, as typically the defense gave him answers as close to end of day as possible. I once went over 200 days without contact or updates from the attorney I fired so to have weekly, or biweekly emails when there weren’t any updates or weekly calls when things were moving was a very welcomed change of pace. Dan always kept me very well informed on the happenings of my case and also assured me when it felt bleak as so much time had passed. In court, his team were nothing short of magical to watch. It’s no surprise I had such a good outcome due to how prepared his team was and how eloquently they spoke. Bringing in an expert to speak to the jury on my injury in a way I learned more about my injury that I had forgotten and the jury became educated on the medical side of my injury and how my injury is caused. The whole team had the jury captivated and eager to actually understand the facts of my case which is so important when most people don’t want to be there for jury duty. If I had to do it all again (which as much as I appreciate Dan, I respectfully hope to never have to need to use his services again), I would retain Dan from the start to ensure the smoothest experience. His years on the job shines through in the respect others have for him, the way he knows the law and the passion he has for getting the best outcome for his clients. He’s the best for a reason and you would be doing yourself a disservice if you’ve been injured and don’t retain his services. Once again, thank you so much Dan, Janet and Jack. You’ve given me my life back and there are not enough thank you in the world to express my gratitude.
