Stay away! Communication is horrible. The only good communication you will get is when is about taking your money.They had no problem calling me at 8:12am to make a payment. Yet I asked for updates on a document that needed to be signed 3 weeks ago and I’m still waiting. They promised so many things and get nothing done. I changed attorneys because the previous one ( Neyza Guzman) wasn’t doing anything and is still the same issue. New attorney ( Lakeisha Dunbar) I was told to remove the previous reviews I had given them here and I was assigned a new attorney and promised that this time would be different but is not. I have read every single bad review here and I believe every single one of them. I will also be filing a complaint to the BBB, the attorney General’s office and have already filed a complaint to the Florida bar. This is unacceptable! Do not hire them as your attorney . They take advantage of your situation.

Do yourself a favor and don’t use this firm. They were the worst. They don’t communicate. I sent a file that they rejected. All they would say was “rejected, send again”. No reason why I’d how they needed it. Took several times of asking what I did wrong and how they wanted it. They included my name change in the paperwork to send the judge but removed it before sending to judge. Too another 3 months to get my name change and a huge ordeal to get them to answer my questions and get them to file it. Took almost 6 months after divorce was final to get the remainder of my retainer. Also many calls to them and them telling me I’d receive a call from billing. Like pulling teeth with these people. They turned a very difficult situation into a much more difficult one. They never apologized for missing my name change. Several times, they said they were sending it in that day but they didn’t. At first they were not willing to file it, until the courthouse emailed them about it. I know because I was copied on this email. Bottom line, do NOT use this law firm unless you don’t mind incompetence. And enjoy being jerked around.

If there were anything lower than one star, it still wouldn’t do justice to how horrible this firm is. This law firm is a complete scam, money-hungry, and will play with your emotions while giving you excuses. They claim there’s a fixed rate to get the job done, but once you pay them, they just keep asking for more money, and in the end, they accomplish nothing. !!!!Stay away from them!!!

I am writing this as the opposing party to a case. Not because I am bitter but because other single moms/dads need to know that this law firm is unprofessional. They will drag out everything and it affects both their representing party and the opposing party. They file responses to things at the very last minute, and I think it’s done intentionally. My lawyer was never able to get ahold of the representing lawyers at this firm as it related to communicating about the case, which just causes delay in the case being able to proceed. Please be warned, as I was somewhat more lucky to be on the opposing side… I can’t IMAGINE having this lawyer represent myself or those I care about. It almost seemed like fraud or a scam to me because the quality of the paper work was off, filed things incorrectly or at the last minute, etc. The real reviews didn’t surprise me, the ones that aren’t bots, that is. In response to the owner: I specifically said the opposing party. As in my lawyer had to deal with the lack of responses, last minute filings, etc. Comprehension is key!
