Great law firm! They handled my chapter 7 really well and really quick. My 3-4-1 meeting was on 12/26/2024 and I got my discharge letter 2/27/2025; faster than I expected. The whole process took about 3 months or so. The staff was very friendly and John Chivis was really nice too. Would definitely work with them again!!

I was referred to Chivas Law Firm through my Legal plan at work. Originally I didn't have high expectations bc I used other attorneys from the plan and they were pretty bad. Let me tell you, I was SO pleasantly surprised to find out Chivas Law Firm is Leaps & Bounds better than any Law firm I've dealth with in TX. I used their firm to assist me with filing bankruptcy after finalizing my divorce, their staff is TOP Tier and the attorney John..Just Wow!!! There was a mishap with my hearing and Mr.Chivas waited with me on this zoom hearing for 1.5hrs. He has got to be the most understanding & patient attorney I've ever met. Every single interaction with Mr. John Chivas was very pleasant, not rushed or intense like you find with most lawyers. He made sure I understood everything, was patient with any questions and encouraged calmness for the scary process I'm facing. If there was such thing as attorney etiquette training I'd say hands down Mr.Chivas would be a Gold Star in leading that. I'm not sure if other lawyers read these reviews, but if so, there is a LOT they could learn from this guy. Being an attorney is likely not easy but Mr.Chivas handles his clients with absolute grace & kindness. BIG Kudos to you Sir and your Staff. You must be a phenomenal leader as well for your staff to be so phenomenal!!!
