Mr. Shipman handles criminal defense cases across Middle Tennessee. He previously worked in Chicago at the Cook County Public Defender’s office where he aided in the defense of nearly every type of felony criminal charge, from violent offenses to drug offenses. Upon moving back to his hometown of Nashville, he accepted a position as corporate counsel for D1 Sports Holdings based in Franklin, TN to assist in the growth and expansion of the company. In 2009, Mr. Shipman entered private practice re-focusing his practice on litigation and criminal defense. He has practiced in at least 48 different Tennessee counties.
