It is my opinion that this is an extremely unethical operation. They assumed a debt of mine to collect from me. We made a reasonable arrangement to make payments... I made those payments for a few months and then suddenly they're portal for payments just stopped working. I tried to call and left a messages I took screenshot video showing the error I'm facing. I couldn't get a response. As a single full custody father of three children, one of whom has severe disabilities, life is hard enough. I myself am also disabled. This economy is crushing me and my family financially. But instead of getting back to me I heard nothing despite multiple attempts to rectify the issue. I put that $75 to the side so that it would be paid the moment they come back and took out loans at times to buy diapers instead of using it just so that I could remain in good faith with my payments... Suddenly I'm served by a process server by another law firm attempting to claim the full debt of $2,000... I didn't receive an email I didn't get a call I didn't even get a text... But after 2 months I go back to their web page to the root page saying they're no longer accepting payments. I don't know what the hell happened but somehow a second law firm is now attempting to sue me basically blindsiding me despite already making a deal with this one... Meanwhile that extra 75 for the payment assumed every spare cent I had... I think it's really shameful whatever happened that they couldn't just give a heads up... And if they attempted I have no digital trace of it whether it be a phone log text or email.

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM! They said they had a judgment against me. Contacted my employer. Would not give me info on which court the judgment was out of. Not the date, the case number, the date of my last payment to the credit company to determine the statute of limitations. The rep seemed annoyed that I knew what I was talking about and made a snide comment that I "obviously knew more than him about this." When I replied "I don't know how that could be since you do this for a living," he replied, "yeah, I don't either." This is a scam company, who hires collection agents, not lawyers, to collect their debts they purchase from offsets. The rep I spoke with was so rude and unhelpful. They lie to trap you into paying expired debts which should be closed due to the amount of time it's been. I called the court he suggested. No judgement on file. What a bunch a fraudulent liars. BEWARE! Don't agree to pay anything from them unless they can provide legal documentation of the debt owed and the documents on any judgment.
