He served 11 years in the U.S. Army and was deployed as part of SFOR1 in Bosnia-Herzegovina and OIF1 in Iraq and Kuwait. Freddy attained the rank of Staff Sergeant prior to leaving the Army and was stationed in Bad Kreuznach, Germany and Ft. Bragg, North Carolina.
