Mr. Nixon was my husband’s attorney and won several difficult VA cases in his favor leading to his 100% disability. When my husband passed away due to another service related issue, Mr. Nixon was outstanding. He assisted me with my Survivor VA Claim. He continued to check on me to see how I was doing. I never expected to be a widow at 55. I really don’t know what I would have done without Mr. Nixon’s (Dorollo) help.

After searching for a lawyer to help with my SSDI case as a disabled veteran, Mr. Nixon was the first person to answer my call with compassion, humanity, and a genuine desire to help. With his assistance, my case was quickly over in my favor. He also provided a reasonable and understanding payment plan. Would recommend to my friends and family, exceptional service.

First off, I eventually won my case. The experience with Mr. Nixon was not professional and I resent him keeping any portion of my payout. I spent over 3 years battling for this disability while Mr. Nixon did very little to get me there. Having nearly a year to prepare, Mr. Nixon still didn’t have my hospital records for the hearing. I wasn’t told this until a few days before the hearing with a judge.Communicating with him was a nightmare as he rarely called back. I was sent forms for my doctors to fill out days before my hearing. This should have been done through his office but instead I was left scrambling to get these opinion forms filled out myself and faxed to him. The few times I actually spoke to this law firm, there was a sense, that no one knew the status of my case. Because there was no paperwork backing my claim, the judge extended his decision to give me more time to get him the paperwork needed. Keep in mind that I was a client for nearly a year before my hearing with the judge. After fighting for a hearing for years, my own attorney arrived with no evidence of my continuing illness/ disease.i was furious but had to keep a relationship with Mr. Nixon. The good news is that I had a smart judge, who sifted through the information he did receive and granted me disability. Mr. Nixon did nothing. As far as my hospital records… I ended up going to the hospital to get hard copies of my records and driving over an hour to meet Mr. Nixon half way. Here is what really, really got to me. I found out I won my case because I recieved a payout check in the mail. I never heard from Mr Nixon again. Not a letter or phone call to tell me we had won our case. So after delivering my hospital records to him, I tried calling a month later to find out the status but he never returned my call. I never spoke to him again after the delivery of my records. This guy is a joke. He did nothing to help me other than holding the title of attorney. He got paid for doing a horrible job. Go to anyone else! Mila Fox

I have reached out to more than 20 VA lawyers, and Mr. Nixon was the ONLY one who had fought for me since then. Mr. Nixon was always a great help and had won one of cases for me! There is one more case that we are working on, he is always communicating with me on where we are. Mr. Nixon always assures me that we have the benefit. If anything, I 1000% recommend Mr. Nixon.

Words alone can't express how grateful our family is that Mr. Nixon assisted with our disabled daughter's $24,000 Social Security Overpayment notices. We had always responded to all of the notices, but they kept coming demanding the monies. He guided us all of the way through the court system, which took a few months, but he did get it resolved and no monies were necessary to pay back the Social Security System. He always took our calls, listened intently, and assured us our daughter would get this resolved to her satisfaction. The final letter from the court judge clearly indicated no overpayment monies would be due and the case was closed! We cannot say enough how Mr. Nixon helped our daughter and gave relief to her and our family. His fees were simple, fair, and easy to understand and he is now considered part of our family. He is awesome and his expertise in getting this resolved was a God send.
