Nancy has forty years of experience helping consumers, farmers and small businesses with debt problems. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Iowa State University and her J.D., with honors, from the University of Iowa College of Law. Before entering private practice with Nancy L. Thompson Law Office, P.C. she was the Farm Law attorney for the Nebraska Legal Aid Society and an attorney with the Center for Rural Affairs in Nebraska. In 2015 Nancy was presented with a Distinguished Service Award by the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA), in recognition and appreciation for her contributions to the organization.
