Rachel Upshaw is a rare treasure among Family Law attorneys and is in a class of her own. She represented me in a long-drawn-out custody case filed by my ex-husband who constantly kept changing the course of the custody case in the span of 2 years. In his initial 53-page lawsuit - based on 90% false allegations - he wanted 100% custody (from 50%) because he alleged, I was abusing our child. 12 months later, he modified the case into an entirely different, relocation case so that he could move to the West Coast and leave the child with me 70% (from 50%) of the time. The case took 2 years - only because of the incompetence of the other counsel and not ill advice from Rachel. Throughout the case, I was very distraught due to the shear amount of lies in his case against me. Rachel went above and beyond to assist me both emotionally and legally in the shortest most expedient rout to get the case settled and get him to pay a judgement fee for Attorney fees.
