Chris is heaven sent! I am extremely pleased with the outcome of my case. What he set out to do, he did! I will recommend him to anyone I know that needs legal assistance! We didn't need to communicate often for him to get the job done. Thank you all so much! I can breathe now that everything is finally over! Chris McCartan, thank you again!

Chris McCartan handled my traffic matter with no insurance ramifications. I would most definitely use his firm again. Chris clearly communicated what I needed to do and he took care of the rest. I am thankful that the process was smooth and easy.

I retained Mr. McCartan to help with a speeding ticket I had gotten. I have only had 1 ever speeding ticket before this one when I was 19. It took about a year, if not a little over, to get through the entire court process. The first court date I had was around November of 2023, I didn't receive any phone call after telling me what happened or if it got pushed to another date, nothing. I then received a letter in the mail saying that I had a failure to appear. Weird considering I paid to retain an attorney and was told I didn't need to personally show up in court. After calling the law office voluminous times to no avail, my mother and I contacted the court house and figured everything out to get my failure to appear fixed. Eventually we finally got in contact with somebody at the office and was told what my next court date was, this was the first time we were able to speak to somebody that could tell us what was actually happening. Come the next court date, I never received any phone call to update me on what was happening AGAIN. We tried, AGAIN, to contact the office and was told by the receptionist every time that she would give them a message to call us back and never received a phone call. I finally received an email telling me that my court date was pushed back again. This happened again after my next court date. Still not able to reach anybody and still no contact from the office staff with an update. Around the end of summer of 2024, at least a month after my last court date, I receive a letter in the mail from the NC DMV stating that my drivers license was getting suspended and needed to be turned in BY THE FOLLOWING MONDAY, which was 3 days away considering this letter came on a Thursday or Friday. I was never contacted by anybody at the office, let alone the attorney that I paid to retain, to inform me of the outcome of my court hearings or what I needed to do. My mom and I called repeatedly and left multiple voicemails furious with the lack of contact and information being given to us. I then was left a voicemail by the Paralegal, which I still have on my phone, telling me to disregard the letter of my license suspension because it was a mistake. I then receive another phone call maybe a week or 2 later by the same paralegal telling me what my court fees were and that Mr. McCartan would be in contact with me soon to let me know of the details of what happened, and of course never received that phone call. I decided to double check with the DMV within the following month that my license wasn't suspended where I was then told that it was in fact suspended. My mother and I were only able to get in contact with someone a hand full of times between the 2 of us. We were very disappointed as this attorney was referred to us by a very close family friend who had amazing things to say as well as most of the reviews we had read online. If I could go back to when I was trying to find an attorney I would 1000% have went with a different attorney.

**1 Star - Terrible Experience** I cannot express how disappointed I am with the services provided by this defense attorney. From the very beginning, communication was a nightmare. Calls and emails went unanswered for days, and when I did get a response, it was vague and he didn’t seem to have a clear strategy, and his lack of attention to detail was shocking. Important deadlines were missed, and he failed to thoroughly review evidence that could have been critical to my defense. Save yourself the stress and find someone who actually cares about their clients and knows what they’re doing. “ YOU’VE BEEN WARNED “

Mr. McCartan is a VERY knowledgeable lawyer. I had my doubts a few times and felt he didn't really care about my situation as he was short with me at times....
